The Oberlin Red Devils will look for more in 2026 after coming off a historic 2025 season. The Red Devils last year finished with a 20-18 record and as Sub-State Runner Up’s in 1A-DI Regional 4. Oberlin’s posted its first winning season and the most wins in a season going back to 2012.
The Red Devils return a lot of experience and production from last year’s team. Maria Rodriguez (SR) and Elsie Larson (SR) return as two of the top hitters for Oberlin. Rodriguez finished with 186 kills on the season last year while hitting 0.216 and earned 2nd team NWKL honors, Larson finished third on the team in kills with 163 and hit 0.111.
The Red Devils also return a package of defensive specialists and setters. Lauren May (JR) and Jori Fortin (JR) both return after each handled most of the setting duties last season. May recorded 356 assists on the season and Fortin recorded 292. Both May and Fortin also recorded of 140 digs on the season as well. Ella Williby (JR) returns to the line up as well after spending most of her time last year as Oberlin’s libero where she was second on the team in digs with 304 and first on the team in aces with 44.
Lindsay Fortin is back at the helm of the Red Devils as she enters her 7th season as the head coach.
