Community Hospital employees traded in their slacks for denim on Friday, July 11, 2025, in support of the Family Resource Center (FRC) in McCook. Through the hospital’s monthly “Jeans Day” initiative, staff members donated $5 each for the opportunity to wear jeans to work, raising funds to benefit FRC’s vital programs and services.
Jeans Day is a long-standing tradition at Community Hospital, taking place on the second Friday of every month. Each month, the funds raised are donated to a different local organization, reinforcing the hospital’s commitment to giving back to the McCook community.
“The Family Resource Center plays a crucial role in supporting families in our area, and we’re proud to contribute to their mission,” said [Spokesperson Name], [Title] at Community Hospital. “Jeans Day is a fun and meaningful way for our staff to make a difference.”
In addition to the Family Resource Center, past Jeans Day recipients have included the McCook Food Pantry, Domestic Abuse Sexual Assault Services (DASAS) during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Prairie Plains CASA, and the McCook Library Foundation.
Community Hospital extends its gratitude to all employees who participate in Jeans Day and help strengthen the community one pair of jeans at a time.
