Big 12 Conference Announces Schedule Matrix for 2025-26

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Big 12 Conference has announced the 18-game opponent matrix for the upcoming 2025-26 women’s basketball season. Each conference team will host six opponents, play six foes on the road and have three home-and-home matchups.

Kansas will host nine conference games at Allen Fieldhouse during the 2025-26 season. The Jayhawks will host BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Houston, Utah and West Virginia and travel to Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Iowa State, TCU and UCF. Kansas will also play home-and-home contests against Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.

Specific dates and times, along with television details will be announced later. Opponents were selected to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness. The Jayhawks are entering the 11th season under the direction of head coach Brandon Schneider, who has guided the program to a winning record in five of the past six seasons, including NCAA Tournament appearances in 2022 and 2024. Kansas welcomes the No. 7 recruiting class in the country for the 2025-26 season, highlighted by five-star prospects Jaliya Davis and Keeley Parks.
