DCS, Cambridge, Medicine Valley, finish top eight at Class D golf

Randolph won the Class D state golf title in North Platte, winning the championship for the second straight year, Randolph shot a team score of 333 and a 17 stroke win over Creighton. Dundy County-Stratton finished fifth with a team score of 349 and 717. Cambridge was sixth with a team score of 352 and 719. Medicine Valley finished eight today with a score of 371 and 743. Preston Carbaugh led Cambridge with a 36 hole score of 168 and 13th place overall. Sheldon Johnsen followed with a 170 and 14th place. Dundy County-Stratton’s Kaleb Wonderly rounded out the area medal winners with a score of 171 and 15th place. Southern Valley was eighth at the Class C state meet in Kearney. The Eagles shot a team score of 353 today and 699 for the tournament. Trent Krejdl was the low man for the Eagles, finishing with a 36 hole score of 172.
